PRIVACY POLICY
How SEARCH collects, uses, protects and retains information when you use the service.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
Operator: SEARCH operator (trading as SEARCH)
Address: Operator address not configured
Email: Contact email not configured
Effective date: 2026-09-05
For privacy questions, contact Contact email not configured.
2. Information we collect
We may process account identifiers such as name and email; workspace and team information; website URLs and business information you choose to connect; scan inputs and outputs; search queries and collected public-web evidence; provider configuration and usage records; billing/order information; security logs; and support communications.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and operate accounts, crawl and analyze connected websites, run scans, provide reports and recommendations, process subscriptions and payments, prevent abuse, secure the service, provide support, troubleshoot failures, maintain records and improve the product.
4. Public-web evidence
When a scan collects public search or website evidence, the service may store the query, URL, result metadata and classification needed to produce the requested report. Customers should only connect websites and provide information they are authorized to use.
5. AI provider credentials
If you connect a customer-owned AI provider, credentials are confidential service secrets. They are used to perform the requested provider-dependent feature and should not be shared through support messages or ordinary scan fields. Provider terms and privacy practices may also apply directly to your use of that provider.
6. Payments
Payment/order information is processed to record plan selection, payment status, references, approvals, refunds or disputes. Do not submit card numbers, banking passwords, API secrets or authentication credentials into free-text fields.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential session, security and preference mechanisms may be used to operate the service. Any non-essential analytics, advertising or marketing technology actually enabled in production should be disclosed in the Cookie Policy.
8. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the service, security, accounting, dispute resolution and legal obligations, subject to the operator's configured retention practices and applicable law. Requests for deletion or access should be sent to Contact email not configured.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-party services
Hosting, payment, email, search, analytics and AI providers may process information where required to provide their functions. The operator should maintain a current subprocessor/provider list where required by applicable law or contract.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Requests can be made using the privacy contact above.
12. Changes
This policy may be updated when the service, legal requirements or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
Legal review note: This is a production-oriented SaaS policy draft, not jurisdiction-specific legal advice. Confirm the operator identity, refund rules, data-retention practices, subprocessors, consent mechanisms and jurisdiction-specific mandatory disclosures before accepting customers.
